Welcome to AGSH. A solo-wargaming blog dedicated to my father and the world's most noble hobby; collecting toy soldiers. Here toy soldiers clash in great battles from scales of 3mm to 54mm.

Star Wars - 3D Printed Assault on Hoth Miniatures

I started printing these pieces after lunch today. They print pretty quick and are close enough for my abstract gaming mind to imagine them being what they represent. The small shield generator hex is the original, the large one is one I sized up to Memoir '44 standards. I also reworked the files for the Hoth Turret and the Dish Gun but I haven't printed my reworks yet. I think this will be a fun project. It is an interesting mix of scales. The soldiers come out to around 12mm. The AT-ST is closer to 3mm.

Dude, you're going nuts with the 3D Printer and it's awesome! The stuff is looking great; I particularly like the 15mm Shermans and Memoir hexes.

Thanks Jack. Plan on doing some modern stuff soon too.

Do you have a link to the files for these please?

Nice to see someone else blogging their 3D prints. I've been using my printer for gaming stuff on and off for the past year, and had some great models out of it. But it's a toy which requires gentle persuasion and high maintenance ;)
