Welcome to AGSH. A wargaming blog dedicated to my Dad and the world's most noble hobby; collecting toy soldiers. Here toy soldiers clash in great battles from scales of 3mm to 54mm. Also the historical records of the imaginary states of the 6mm Republic of Prussia, the Kingdom of Aksum, the Principality of Huack, the Khedivate of Turkoslavia and the Duchy of Saxe-Huack.

"Truly it can be said of him, without count are his soldiers & beyond measure his might." - Prince Edward in reference to Lord Butler & his invasion force departing London for Mars.

Fourth Playtest

I added a Mage, Orc Paladin and a Hero to the mix this time around. I also increased the command dice to 6. The playtest left me feeling a little funny though. The Mage was took out by Orc Shooters. The Paladin died as expected, and the Hero seemed...not. Finally the Orcs won the field by killing the General of Men in battle. The battle did result in a few rule changes and additions which means the playtest was a success. I need to review how I expect a character type units to behave in battle, especially in defeat.

Orc Invaders.

Defenders of Men

Orc general leads his warband from behind.

The Mage ascends the hill.

The Orc Paladin bites it.

Orc Archers struck down the mage.

A lone unit of Knights attempts to slow the Orcs.
