June 1879 Graz, Austria. Nikola Tesla invents the first anti-gravity coil. In August agents working for the Edision Electrical Co. steal the design and bring it to New York. In October the Austro-Hungarian Empire launches the first airship, the SMS Monarch. Soon after the race for airships and later aetherships picks up speed with most of the European nations along with both the U.S.A. and C.S.A. building their own designs.
