Welcome to AGSH. A wargaming blog dedicated to my Dad and the world's most noble hobby; collecting toy soldiers. Here toy soldiers clash in great battles from scales of 3mm to 54mm. Also the historical records of the imaginary states of the 6mm Republic of Prussia, the Kingdom of Aksum, the Principality of Huack, the Khedivate of Turkoslavia and the Duchy of Saxe-Huack.

"Truly it can be said of him, without count are his soldiers & beyond measure his might." - Prince Edward in reference to Lord Butler & his invasion force departing London for Mars.

Austonian Army Reforms

I rebased my 6mm Early Imperial Romans/Jovians to 40mm square bases to better match the design of my new game "Legatus Ancient Battles." I considered adding a decal id to each base but decided against it as it would have required separating the delicate 6mm legionnaires from their old base.  Some still needed a dark wash so I applied that as well.  Rebasing has reduced this army down from 20 elements to 13.  Now as far as my IRLP is concerned the future toy soldiers will be mounted similar to these, only 4700 more to go!
